Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default No Petition to HR 1022 Assault Weapon bill

I know a lot of you have been following Jim Zumbo and the anti-assault weapon statement he made and the bill that was introduced two days before his comment. Here is an easy petition to sign if you would like to help defeat this bill. Took me only a couple of minutes to complete.I am 2046.

A petition with so many Anonymous signers will not be taken seriously by anyone.

There are many, such as myself, that did sign it with our names. Apathy won't help either Charlie.

Charlie has a valid point Don, a petition with no way to verify who signed it is just so much tp. You'd have better spent your time going to the GOA, NRA, or USSA websites and filing on theirs.

I wouldwrite my Reps but alas I'm from NY.

Just saying that a petition to be taken serious by a Politician must have name, address, phone etc, to even be looked at.

Like Kevin said that one is TP.

I put all my info on the petition too. If there is a more formal one, could anyone provide a link?

Even if you include your name, online petitions are incredibly ineffective. I agree that gunowners cannot afford apathy, but there are much better ways to fight it.

I agree, write Reps.. Online petitions are noting more than a Rally rag. It might help send a message, but carry no mustard.

I would recommend calling up your Rep and saying to his aide, "I've had it up to here with you people!!!"
