Pit Bull Jumps Through Car Window & Attacks Boy
ORLANDO, FL (AP) -- Authorities say a pit bull named Fatal attacked an Orlando boy after jumping through a car window.
The 11-year-old boy was taken to the hospital yesterday with bites and cuts on his legs. Fatal, the dog, was taken to the pound. Animal control officers will decide what happens next with him.
Authorities say the boy was playing with friends outside their apartment complex when the pit bull started chasing him. The boy jumped into the car, but the dog followed him through an open rear window.Fatal ......... what a name for a wittty bittty pooochy woochy that wouldn't hurt a flea huh >?

Yeah, we had a pair of pits attack two children here in Houston. Fortunately, we won't have to wait for the animal control folks to "decide what to do with them." They were both dispatched by the officers at the scene. Good riddance to a pair of POS dogs.

LOL, you just illustrated the point that the owners are in control, and are responsible (as I hear on COPS quite a bit during DUI stops) for the 'care, custody, and control' of theiranimal(s).
I'm sure that this dog, immediately before entertaining selfish, sadistic thoughts of child mauling, named itself something fearsome to strike terror in its victims, since the pit bull is simply playing a very cruel game when it decides to wound or kill.

Aught Sixyou silly man, of course it didn't name itsself ! It did however chase the kids, jumping into a car and attacking one of them. Odd behavior for a basset hound or corgi ........ very common traits for a pit bull, which is the point - once a pit snaps, the attack is hard to stop.

Right, just like people. It's not the environment they are raised in, or the abuse and violent behavior their endure, it's what they look like or how big they are that determines who attacks and who doesn't.

Yea, when you get 300million people in a country, wierd things are bound to happen.Thats the beauty of being an american. We can drive fast cars, shoot big guns, have strong dogs, oh wait a second, all our male leadership is losing all testicals they have and want to give all that up for the sake of the safety.

Aught Six - no, even the best of trained animals break and snap - look at Siegrfied (or was it Roy's ?) neck - tiger was very well trained and tried to rip his throat out.
True, pit bulls are removed from the wild by domestication, but that killer instinct was hammered into them. ANY pit bull web site will tell you to be VERY careful of them, they are not for everyone, never trust them 100%. If pro-pit bull owners are telling you this - why aren't you listening ? The dogs have the highest danger level of any breed out there - why you don't get that I'll never know.

What an absurd comparison. The killer instinct has not been bred into pit bulls; gameness, obedience, and human loyalty and non-aggression are the traits that have been bred by professionals. And as I've mentioned previously, you seem to visit only those "pit bull owner" web sites that display a heavy bias against pit bulls. And until the "highest danger level" (when including rottweilers and mixed-breed pits) rises beyond four or so deaths in the U.S. per year, pit bull safety is not much of an issue on the national scene.
I'm sure, though, you'd take some amusement in the fact that my cousin's pit bull terrier drew blood from me today. We were playing when his claws scraped my fingers, leaving a hairline scratch against two of them. Of, how the blood drove him into a murderous frenzy...
