I agree with Ifferd for the most part, except I think back ground checks should be done on anyone buying a firearm of any type. I may even support that anyone wishing to purchase a firearm, be required to take abrief,maybe one hour,firearms safety class of some sort and be able to present a card of some type indicating completion, before being legal to purchase, as it may discourage some criminals from using girlfriends and others with clean backgrounds to purchase firearms for them.

You do not even have to hit her. She can accuse you of stalking. If the judge gives her a restraining order, kiss the guns goodbye, at least in some states.
i am opposed to any form of gun control except for convicted felons with a record of violence, the insane, and illegal aliens. I take this stance because i have thoroughly studied the USConstitution and its' supporting documentation. "The people" mean just that, the people: Not the National Guard, not the militia, not the cops, but the people.
Look at that idiotic Dukakis(sp)and the Willie Horton debacle. Why do liberal Democrats coddle felons? The answer is easy, felons vote in 38 or 40 states. Theoverwhelming majority of felon voters vote for those Democrats who make their lives easier.
Well lets see;
1. I and my wife both have concealed carry permits
2. We have a gun safe full of handguns/rifles/shotguns
3. I like and own AR's
4. I believe that every American with a decent, clean record; should be able to own and carry concealed weapons upon them and travel from state to state unregulated. If the state you reside in states that your criminal record is clean enough to carry, than all other states in the United States must honor this.
5. I am a Lifetime NRA member
I also do 99% of my hunting and alll of my big game hunting with a bow. Just an avid bowhunter who still believes in the 2nd ammendment.

I bow hunt, so it dont effect me. Ban all guns so thewoods will be all mine.
Now for my honest answer;
I do not mind back ground checks, or age limits. No Felons with weapons. Other than that, thats it.
