Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Rules Violations

For all members posting in the political forum,

If you want to argue with someone, enjoy. If you want to prove their statement, opinion or argument is wrong, please do so. But, attack the argument and not the person. Please refrain from calling the person a liar or posting that their post is "lies." Doing so violates HNI rules and does not further the discussion, argument, etc.

Members discuss some extremely controversial topics in the political forum and I tend to moderate it leniently and give people some extra room to allow for better discussions. However, I am still charged with enforcing the rules and cannot allow one member to insult another and thus violate the rules. If you're not sure about a post or have a complaint, issue or concern, please PM me and I will be happy to get an answer for any question you have or do my best to get your issue resolved. Thanks in advance for the cooperation. Now play ball.

Addition to this post--For those very few members who insist on posting about killing the President, YES, your post will be deleted and you will be banned. You are obviously free to arrange your in-person meeting with the Secret Service but please leave HNI and the rest of us out of it.

Yeah, but if the other guy really is a liar, perhaps we're just enlightening him in order that he may change his dishonest ways. That would make him a better person, offer a chance to become a more reasoned debater, and contribute greatly to the furthing of our beloved discussions.

Other than that, all I have to say is "BAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Thank you for your time.

This topic is already being hijacked and out of control. I knew I should have locked it. [8D]

Sorry, Cal, you're right. I did feel a little guilty making light of a very serious issue (as we can see from the void in the Off Season forum). We are trying our best to conform, but being naughty is so much dang fun.
