Abortion....

I am definitely pro-choice, so I will preface my question with that. What is the understanding/reasoning of others regarding those in favor of abortion and those opposed? Feedback would be appreciated.

I'm just saying that there are a couple of characters on here who love to debate this subject, and will undoubtedly be several pages long by this time tomorrow.

I'm not sure there are any cold, hard facts in this issue. All we have are our opinion. If you post that abortion is murder, someone else will post that life doesn't begin at conception, or vice-versa, and there's no way to prove either point. If you post that abortion is unGodly by using Biblical scriptures, someone else will post the opposite by using Biblical scriptures. And there's no way to prove either point.

That said, I'm sure I'll be back to argue my side as this thread progresses.

I don't want you to waste the forum's time by stirring old issues up anew without due cause. This topic has been beaten into the ground on a near-continuous basis for years and years. There is plenty more to discuss in the world other than abortion. Abortion as an issue hasn't changed consistently enough to warrant the rehashing of old arguments.

Most Abortions are payed for with tax payer money.Because many believe abortion is the killing of a child it is against their spiritual beliefs.
As with most things in life the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy divide allot of people on this issue.
We refuse to put convicted murders to death but kill thousands of babies per year.
