Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Politically Incorrect Song

InMarch, 2005, this song was performed at a Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered politically incorrect. Consequently, the song was never released to the public. Let us cease being the silent majority and join together -- not as a particular political party, but as Americans!

It's amass e-mail that has been going around for awhile.. The song was released on an album but never as a single, which is how it gets air play. Originally the e-mail stated it didn't get air play because it mentioned God after it changed because it became obvious many Country songs mention God and get played.

I loved it - always nice to listen to the songs that remind Americans who, what and where we've been to get to that place called Freedom and keep it!

A sad note that one could say this is "Politically Incorrect"

It is a wonderful song, it has great meaning, and Diamond Rio can still pick the crap out of a song. I think the reason it didn't recieve any airplay is because it's not what most would call radio friendly. Commercialism is staple in the music business, moreso that meaning. It's a shame, but hey, that's show business.

Radio is a free market. If it sells, it gets played. if not, it gets shelved like Yoko Ono.

From a chain e-mail that's bogus.

Just like Ted Nugent wrote "bad American" "why the American flag is folded 13 times" and many others AJ52.

Someone starts it and sends out and then people just believe it and keep it going.

To get air play songs are released as a single.
