What DHS officials said to Congress that might have been untruthful (and, yes, if they lied, they should lose their jobs) has nothing to do with the prosecution of the border patrol agents. And it CERTAINLY has nothing to do with Bush.

As for the "neocons," if you didn't notice, the Congressional rally for a pardon of the convicted men is being led by Republicans (and, Bush said two weeks ago that he is reviewing the case and will consider a pardon, BTW).

Aren't the DHS officials testifying to Congress doing so under oath? If so and they admitted lying, they should be reprimanded or prosecuted and probably fired. I hope President Bush does pardon the 2 Border Patrol agents and hope somebody looks into their prosecution as something just doesn't sound right. Ifferd, do you have a list or link to one of the Congressmen/women signing the petition? Thanks.

I think they should be pardoned. However a jury did find them guilty. I heard on the news that one of them was beat to hell in prison already. When it comes to illegals, Bush really Sucks. However so do most of the other vote hungry politicians. They have no shame.[:@]

What the hell does Bush have to do with an internal matter at INS that would warrant impeachment? Did he order them to shoot personally? Cover it up? You really need to read up on what it takes to impeach a President some time, the Congressman would be wise to do the same if he wants to avoid looking like a fool in future statements.
