Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Have kids or else!

Procreate,*****it

Under newly proposed legislation in Washington state heterosexual couples would not only have to prove their fertility prior to being issued a marriage license, but demonstrate it within the first three years of their marriage or face annulment. Not surprisingly, this has been proposed by proponents of same sex marriage.

As soon as my trophy wife and I tie the knot...I will be reproducing like a mad man. I'm not sure about the count of my little soldiers though.

Even the organization proposing this legislation acknowledges that it's absurd and only being done to protest a court decision.

Well, you found the flip side Canuck. But what happens when you get all these calls from the gravity challenged women.

Gravity challenged, what a great P.C. term for fatties.

Actually, the religious right has done some silly things in this area too. I remember years ago there was a controversy about allowing a woman to marry a guy who was paralyzed from the waist down. The logic was that it would not be a legitimate marriage because the man would be unable to consumate it.

And i like Canuck's pinch hitter idea. It reminds me of an old story from my hometown. Back during WWI there was a young married couple who were having trouble having kids. Along came WWI and the husband was facing the draft. He enlisted the help of a fertile neighbor to help him out of his problem since men who were fathers had a chance of avoiding service. I can just imagine the conversation at the kitchen table when this strategy was first raised.
