Yes, the Colts won and the Bears lost. Grossman played, as he has all season, inconsistently. Grossman, however, did not lose the game. How many first downs did the Chicago defense allow? Chicago still scored 17 points, enough to win if the Chicago defense held tough. No, the whole Bears team lost this game, not just Grossman. I was solidly backing Chicago, but my hopes flickered and went out at the end of the Colts's drive beginning the second half.
What the heck, I didn't think they played Super Bowls in outdoor stadiums any longer!!! I wonder what it was like to pay so much money for tickets and then to have to sit in the bloody rain? That would have been an ideal place to try out my new Cabela's Rain Suede parka and matching bibs.
