Default Another delightful Pit Bull story...

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/metro/4516371.html

A couple of high school ...Deleted by CalHunter... goad their pit bull into mauling a tied up cat, and then post video on their Myspace page... What a pair of intensely moronic buffoons. Would have been nice if the Pit decided it liked the taste of blood, and went after some of theirs.

I wonder how long it will take before the police find them and charge them with animal cruelty. It amazing what it takes for some people to amuse themselves. As for me, I'll take a slinkee please.

They've already been arrested. One of the local TV stations was interviewing the 17 year old as he was led away in handcuffs. I swear, the little scumbag's IQ is hovering at or below his hat size.

They are looking at possibly 2 years in the pen. $15,000 bail.

That's pitiful, but it brings to mind something more pitiful to me--a kid faces 2 years in prison forkilling a cat, and O.J. is free.

two things here, I agree that any jail time or probation should not come of this. It's a freaking animal. Now If it was someones precious pet, Then a good ...Deleted by CalHunter... whoopin and a stiff fine.
Maybe a small fine but no criminal record if it was just a stray animal. That is BS just for an animal.

Now

tied up the cat and got the dog excited enough to kill the feline

Sounds like a canned hunt and a hunter, should the same rules be applied for canned hunting? An unclean kill could be the same as a mauled animal if it isn't killed quickly. It will suffer sometimes longer than that cat. Something to think about wouldn't you say?

This has some video of a tv reporter questioning this moron. "I didn't think nothing of it"... "Anybody would have done the same thing, with the camera right there."

This kid deserves to be in jail...

Whatever dude. Ask him how many future serial killers were animal abusers when they were this kid's age. 17 years old, and he didn't think he'd done anything wrong. You're being awfully defensive. Perhaps you've participated or have fantasized about participation in similar animal abuse. I suspect you're the one more in need of being medicated.
