Default This time... The Pit Bull Lost

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/4516817.html

Pit Bull strangled by its intended victim. Good riddance to another POS dog. The owners had two of them. This was the "nice one" that had never been aggressive to anyone. They intended to euthanize their other one because it was "unpredictable." Fortunately the victim was able to euthanize the nice one before it ripped his throat out.

People often can't comprehend what a purebred dog really is, they think it means that they all just look alike. Purebreds are breed for purposes, hunting dogs hunt, guard dogs guard, and attack dogs attack. My sister has one that she keeps in the house with my 2 year old niece. Say, you don't anyone who's buying dog hides these days do ya.

Buster will, only if you let him kill it first.

80 pound "pit bull"? I would like to see some pictures of the dog before everyone says how pit bulls are bad etc... Media usually calls every dog a "pit bull" just on how they look and Ibet at 80 pounds it was some variation/mix type dog.

Its two bad the man was bitten, a more favorable outcome could have been had if the man put a .45 slug in the dogs head as it approached.

That man can take care of him, that's for sure. What should we do with the owners? Fine them for breaking a leash ordinance? Charge them with criminal negligence, reckless endangerment? Figure a way to hold them liable vicariously and charge them as accesories to assault and battery?

I'd go with the first couple of options, but not the last one.
