To the members that have been saying this over and over,I have a question.
How you going to feel if a Democrat gets into office, with the way the Patriot act, Bush's recent executive orders, wire tappingand the gathering of info off the internet are going. What if the Patriot act 2 gets put into effect.

As long as there's a system of checks and balances to insure the spying is only on non-citizens and known terrorists, I could care less if it's done by a Democrat, Republican, or Independent. I don't support imposing U.S. Constitutional rights on everyone justbecause they may be visiting or making phone calls to the U.S.
I don't see how it could be possible to check in on every person in the U.S.--have you ever considered what kind of manpower that would require? And for what? To hear someone talk to their mother or see how many times a day they post on HNI? Just be sure to wear your tinfoil hat and you will be fine.
Mack, FYI both Dem and Republican presidents, including Clinton, have done this for years. It was the Dems that raised a stink about it, throwing everything they could against the wall hoping somthing would stick to undermine President Bush. Where is the outrage about Clinton? Fine for one side, but not the other?
