Chiefs of Police ?

I just got a call from the PA Chiefs of police wanting me to support them. I asked why ? And was told that by supporting them I would get a sticker for the back of my truck next to my license plate showing my support. I could show my support better by how much I promised to pay them thru the year ,the higher the amount I promised to send each month the different color my sticker would be.
I told them that I felt I was being black mailed and wanted a copy of this recorded call. I was told I would have to call another # and request a copy of the tape .
I feel this is terribly wrong scaring people into making a donation.
We'll see if I get busted on the way home from work today. []

Sounds like blackmail to me. Most Chiefs of Police belong to an organization that is opposed to concealed carry for us ordinary citizens.

Most non-profits have different levels of support for donations, and nobody was forcing you to donate, all you had to do was say "No thanks." and hang up.
