Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Illegal Immigration

For years, Houston police officers were not allowed to ask people they had arrested whether they were in the country illegally. Thatis, until an officer was killed by an illegal almost a year ago. A week later, the policy was changed and now, all inmates are asked whether they are illegals. Since then 10% of the people arrested have admitted they were here illegally. This has got to be costing taxpayers millions and millions of dollars annually, on top of the $100 million spent on treating illegals by the Harris County Hospital District each year. I read this morning that Gov. Perry has called for more troops for the border. It's time that those troopsbe allowed to do more than just watch.

It would seem a simple enough matter to determine residency, I have yet to meet a ******* that had proper ID and enough command of english to understand the demand to produce it. Posting troops who can't shoot or arrest is a waste of time and resources, plant mines instead and move them occasionally, be sure to print the warning signs in english. Building a wall between the two countries is equally useless, the only wall that will stop a ******* is a receding wall of lead, and besides, who would they hire to build it? All of this would be unnecessary if we simply get off our whining asses and just dry up the jobs that attract them, there are millions of people here on welfare who would benefit more from a little honest labor, hire them instead and cut off the welfare. I'll never understand why this is such a difficult concept for many.

BTW, the phrase "ilegal immigrant" is an oxymoron, there is no such thing. If you came here legally you're an immigrant, if not you're an invader.

My bestfriends wife was a doctor at Conroe's hospital. She would work at Harris every now and then as a sub., if you will. She said it made her sick. Not only did the illegals give her attitude, they also displayed an air of entitlement. The only other hospital she worked at that was worse than Harris was in El Paso. She told me a few years back that an ambulance from Mexico is allowed to pass freely across the boarder with out any inspection. Mexican Doctors will only see patience that can pay. If the patientcant pay, theMexican doctors put them in an ambulance and sent them to America. We get to treat the sick in America and Mexico on my nickel.

One of my political principles is that there should be few laws and those laws should be rigorously and uniformly enforced. For many years we have blithly tolerated illegal mexican immigrants who have boldly fout our immigration law. I think this is bad, end of story. Don't argue with me that it lowers the cost of houses built, lowers the cost of meals in restaurants. The law is on the books; it should be enforced or removed from the books (and should be enforced until removed). It is just that simple. I focus on illegal mexican immigrants because (1) we don't have many illegal immigrants from other foreign countries and (2) it seems from my limited observations that these people from other foreign countries are quite concerned to keep their visas legal and papers in order, sometimes at great cost and trouble to them in doing so.

So, stop the friggin' illegal immigrants in every way possible. Make it hurt employers who employ these folks. Find a way to secure the border. Hurt the people who enable the ingress of these people.

I never could understand the problem with illegal immigrant beside them being a pest from time to time. It is illegal for police office to ask anyone or demand that they show proof they are a legal immigrant. Imagine being ask by the police to show proof of your citizenship everytime. A routine stop could ruin your whole day, if not more. I am morefor annexing Mexico into the US. Imagine the realty property. This will never happen because the Government is too corrupt and rich. They do not want to give that up unless we do it by force which should take two hours because the people will support it.

No jobs?

No reason to risk crossing the border.
Another reason is the billions we give away in free medical services. Their attitude, and I've seen this quoted in local papers, is "Why would I spend $1,000 to have my baby in Mexico when I can come to the U.S. and have it for free." And, by being born here, the little bastards become U.S. Citizens. THAT is something that should also be stopped.

Also, while the doctors are in there giving away our tax dollars, they ought to tinker with the plumbing a bit so we don't have to pay for the next one as well...

ok so, I, Canuck_Buck, sneak into America to escape the overcooked poutine crisis Canada is facing....I get caught...I am asked if I am illegal?

oh yeah sure I am...NOT !...I would lie so i would not be sent back to canada to face a stale overcooked plate of poutine again...could I claim asylum? or could I just lie and say I was on my way to see my HNI buddies for a bigfoot hunt...?

Now if I planned it right I would make sure I had some fake papers...and not enter from Mexico...
