Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Question for the Bush basher??

Did you vote for Gore and Kerry in the last election, if so, what was your justification?

Ill chime in here because I do not particularly like Bush. He got my vote, not because I liked casting it for him, but because I could not bring myself to vote for the other losers. I simply voted against the others. I know that's not romantic and of the best policy, but it has pretty much been the choice for the last few elections. Even our local. (Id like to take just a moment to say, I did not vote for Perry, I gladly threw away my vote in the Texas Gubernatorial election.)

I voted 3rd party this last election. I knew my vote probably wouldn't be the deciding factor, but I wasn't voting for either of the major party chuckleheads.

Voted for Gore in 2000
--Didn't know much if anything about "W" at the time.

Voted for Kerry in '04
--Didn't think "W" was what he'd made himself out to be. At all![:'(]

Thrash away! [8D] Though I don't consider myself a "basher"--just not a "believer" in what he says. Someone above said it best "God help us in 2008"!

Billy
At least you have enough hair on your bean bag to admit it. I posted this out of curiosity. I did not think Gore or Kerry was a decent choice at all (just my oppinion). Others have mentioned like wise, and then turn and bash Bush. Made me wonder what they voted for, since they were bashing all the candidates.

Until we have a larger pool of scoundrels to choose from every four years the option to vote "None of the above" is still a valid one. If everybody did this just once it would send an unmistakeable message to the political establishment, and it certainly couldn't screw up the election any worse than Algore did...

We agree, wow. If you will not vote for the lesser of two evils, what ill you do. I would love to have a legit reason to vote. Kevin mentions a no vote. That would be great if it could ever happen. Till then, I'm compelled to vote for the lesser of two evils to help insure thegreaterevil is not in power.
