OK, there has got to be something in Wisconsin. First Chai Vang killed six hunters and now Nichols kill Cha Vang. Why is this only happening in Northern Wisconsin. From my understanding there are more Hmong people in Minnesota and California but these sort of things do not happen in the other two states or any other states for all I know. My guess is that there is a deep, bury hatred or racism that is going on up there. And this is a fact (if you want to call it that there are more Skin Head or White Supremacy up in northern Wisconsin than anywhere else). Do we support these sort of thing here?
Police have a suspect in the shooting death of a turkey hunter in Colorado, but they say the man, an illegal alien, has fled to Mexico. Qwest Communications executive Jeff Garrett was fatally shot while hunting with a shotgun May 14. .
"We have recovered the weapon, we have a witness, and we have a suspect," said Lou Vallario, the Garfield County Sheriff.
The suspect's name was not released.

A hunter shot a man who had been picking berries after mistaking him for a bear, then fled in a panic, disregarding the dying man's pleas for help, prosecutors said. The victim, Douglas Bartlett, 50, was found dead in the woods of Whitingham late Saturday. On Tuesday, the hunter, Brian D. Gilbert, 26, of Charlemont, Mass., pleaded not guilty to a charge of second-degree murder and was held on $25,000 cash bail. If he is convicted, Mr. Gilbert could face life in prison. According to an affidavit, Mr. Gilbert's brother, Corey, who had been hunting with him, said they fled after hearing Mr. Bartlett say, ''Help me, help me, I've been shot.''

David Van Dyne Sr. killed Randall McClellan with a shotgun after McClellan hunted deer. Van Dyne was driving to Buffalo when his car broke down in a cemetery on Route 104. He saw McClellan's parked car, waited for him to return, shot him three times and took his car.
This isn't a Wisconsin only issue, its just the press trying to stir things up and you trying to help.

Well, you are right about one thing. People shoot people everywhere, it does not matter who you are. I guess it was purely coincidental, give me a break. You are generalizing everything, accusing me of trying to blow up every thing. Gave us fact that specify this type of crime happen anywhere else. What you are saying is just accidental. I know hunting accident happen in every state. But if you narrow this down, these type of things rarely happen, and when they do it was both time in Northern Wisconsin. That is probably where you are from. You got any personal minority friend?
Good grief, man, why don't you stop asking questions and just state what you think. That's why you're here anyway, so why play games?
It isn't hard to dismiss anyone who appears on this forum with a whopping 9 posts; its even easier when they espouse a thinly-veiled agenda and not much else.
Bottom line: You have nothing to offer worth discussing and you really don't wish to really trade ideas anyway, so who are you trying to kid?
My agenda is to prevent another incident like Chai Vang and Cha Vang from happening again. Both cases did not have to happen. It could be so easily avoided, unless you are just looking for trouble. Obviously its harder than I thought with so many racism.
Unfortunately, troll, there is many racism throughoutall human cultures. Letting racist beliefs dominate your life is pretty stupid and self-destructive, but let's face it--it goes both ways. Vang #1 was a nut. I don't care what anyone calls you when you're tresspassing on their property...murder is not justified. Vang #2 seems to have been the victim of a revenge killing by some redneck cheesehead. In two cases we have to men of "differing race" who committed murder.
It's not so much racism as it is some people just being friggin' nuts! You see it in this forum every day!
Preventing another incident like the 2004 or 2007 incidents is what we ALL want. These types of incidents reflect poorly on ALL of us as hunters, regardless of ethnic background. The first step is for ALL of us to accept the fact that we are in this together, and only by working together can we prevent such things from happening in the future.
Coming on here and calling people racist is not helping achieve this goal so let's put away the insult cards and have an honest discussion on how we can prevent this in the future.

Peace, we are all racist to some extent. I myself was and still is to some point unless someone else points it out for me or upon reflection, realize my ignorant. I posted and reponsed on this site because I knew hunters were a different breed. They respect life, more so than the anti-gun people.
