Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Another Sad day!

I am getting really tired of seeing our men killed. Just what the hell we are doing is beyond me. 2500 years of fighting and the gifted one George Bush is going to stop it with our mens lives!

It takes tunnel vision to believe that there will ever be peace in the middle east. Life it self means nothing to these godless bastards of the sand. Leave them all the weapons ,bullets & bombs they need to continue killing each other. Bring our men & women home And I mean all of them ,the ones in Germany the ones in South Korea and all the other butt wipe countries that reap all the benefits of us being there but in return stab us in the back when we need a hand!

Its time to tell the rest of the world to kiss our American a$$!!!!!!!!!!

Thirteen more today!!!

It also takes tunnel vision to stereotype all Middle Easterners as violent and uncivilized, and to assume that there is absolutely no chance of peace despite a long record of human expansion and development of complex law and culture just about everywhere on earth. The Middle East will take time, but anything is possible if we believe in it and want it badly enough.

For the destruction of terrorist groups and more political and economic influence in the region.

You are talking about a group of under educated wife beating cave dwelling misfits. They are unable to reason ,unable to even grasp the idea of a life free from the death & destruction of anyone other than their own secular clan.

I am having a problem referring to these people as humans. They behave much more like a sub human race such as apes. They place the death of others ahead of the well being of their own family.

Not quite what I have in mind for Iraq, but one thing's certain: giving up will accomplish nothing but civil war. It will be deadly to assume that things will settle down on their own once we leave. We'll pay later on for inaction today.

"The Middle East will take time, but anything is possible if we believe in it and want it badly enough."

Wish that your statement were true. Unfortunately it is not accurate. i spent many years working in the Middle East and can tell youthat, with the possible exception of Lebanon, there isvery littlesupport for democracy in any of the Arab countries.Elections in Saudi, Syria and Egyptwould result in Islamic Republics that are crazier than Iran.Saudi Arabia is ruledby a medievaltheocracy administeredby benevolent despots. It is in many ways crazier than Iran.

Look at what happened in Algeria. The US insisted on elections. Theyheld elections and the Islamic crazies won. With US support the king then refused to step down. This resulted in aterrible civil war.

Hatred of Israel is the glue that holds Arab countries together. The US has allowedoursupport for Israel to sour our relations with the Arabs: Now they hate us just as badly as they hate theIsraelis.

I wish for my Arab friends that they could be free from the shackles of corrupt rulers. The sad fact is that it doesnot matter how badly we asAmericans want democracy in the Middle east, it ain't going to happen any time soon.

Conclusion: Get the US out of the "nation building" business.

Peace be upon you.
