I hope our military is way ahead of them in the space arena, and has ways of protecting our satellites from being destroyed! To me, this is a very alarming development.

I've been thinking about our old friend China. My guess is that they're hoping to sustain industrial and economic growth until they surpass the U.S. Once they beat us economically, I think they can do as they please militarily. They want Taiwan very badly, and the Pacific Rim's natural resourcesin general. Unless their government collapses, I think it's a matter of time, maybe a sooner than I'd like to imagine.

what a charming, erudite young man. the proud product of what educational systen, i wonder?
back to the issue at hand, i think aught's absolutely right. China will be the next great global superpower, and i imagine it'll happen in our lifetime. hopefully, we'll all get along. i also hope that we continue to try to gow our fledgling relationship with India, just in case we can't.

That's my concern, Iffered. And somehow I keep thinking about how democrats want to give money to people who don't want to work for a living, instead of staying on the cutting edge militarily so we canprotect our people in this country from attack.
