Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Is this not what we want to hear????? They dont need us anymore. Can you say, Job almost done.Call itsaber rattling or sour grapes, I dont care as long astheIraqi government achieves some sort of stability and we can start heading home.

Lets look at the flip side. If we gave a time table, what would happen? Got to remember how long the terrorists planned and prepared for 9-11. Patience is something terrorists have. They are a little more hardcore about their goals. Sad but true. Iraq is a crap sandwitch, how we eat it is all reative.

Bush's statements are true. What does aid and comfort to the enemy have to do with truth? Facts are facts: al-Maliki has not had the balls to stand up to the major armed political factions in his country until Bush and the international community called him on it.

He heard the criticism and responded.I don't see a lot of aid and comfort in cracking down on the Mahdi Army and rounding 400 or so suspected insurgents up. I don't see much aid and comfort in the U.S. entering Sadr City to start lighting these nutjobs up.

Radical Arab nutcases like Al Maliki appeal to their majority constituency by preaching hate and waging war against a minority group. All the Arab dictators preach hate for Israel.Hatred of the Jews is the glue that holds the Arabs together. If therewas no Israel,Arab countrieswould be killing each otherby the millions. In the case ofAl Maliki and his Shiite supportersit ishatred for the Sunni minority and, to a lesser extent, hatred for Kurds that is the driving force.

Al Maliki needs US troops to prop him up until his Shiite faction is strong enough to take over the country.

"Thus one can only conclude that Bush wants our troops to fail and doesn't mind harming them with his rhetoric for political gain"

I do not think that Bush wants our military to fail in Iraqon his watch. The Bush White Housedid not wise up to the fact that their war on the cheap was not working until it was very late in the game.It would have been very easy to have doubled or tripled US troop strength in Iraq within a year of the invasion. Now many of the weak kneed politicians who voted for this war are whining at the cost in monetary terms.Few of them care about the cost to our military in in human terms.

Liberals like Hillary Clinton voted for the war because they saw a chance to build a democracy in Iraq. They forgot the part where there has never been support for ademocracy in the Arab world.

"Bush boosts terrorist morale"

GOOD! The more that will stand up and fight, the more we will kill !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope every one of those cowards shows up to fight. The more, the better. That'll shorten the war, and kill those sorry dogs.

Iraq PM Stops Protecting Shiite Militia
BAGHDAD, Iraq"” Iraq's prime minister has dropped his protection of an anti-American cleric's Shiite militia after U.S. intelligence convinced him the group was infiltrated by death squads, two officials said Sunday.

In a desperate bid to fend off an all-out American offensive, the radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr last Friday ordered the 30 lawmakers and six Cabinet ministers under his control to end their nearly two-month boycott of the government. They were back at their jobs Sunday.
