What kind is this?

Just wondering if any of you can guess what type of "breed" of dog this is? Im at a total loss of knowledge.

looks a lot like a pit mix with most likely alab. Could easily be a English bull dog mix with a lab as well.

pitbull? Why do you think its a pitbull? because it shares some simular looks? When i picked the puppy up at the time, his mother was a sharpei and the father was a red heeler. Hmmmm now i bet you're starting to wonder if those big bad pitbulls you saw were actually pitbulls. Now can you see how mixed breeds can easily get confused with others? Ive seen mixed sharpei's/ boxers look like pitbulls and the only way to know for sure was to ask what type it was. Mixed dogs are kind of like michael jackson, you dont know what it is untill you ask.
But i hope this has helped open some peoples eyes to understand that mixed dogs can easily look like other types of "breeds" And also, That dog in the pic was way to small to be pitbull lol, only 35lbs! He was actually pretty small. I wish i could find his puppy pics, he had so many wrinkles on him. Heres a pic below of my 100% Purebred American pitbull terrier. You can see a huge difference in body/head size VS the first pic. Also, the first dog in the pic was 3 years old, the pic below is of a 10month old pitbull terrier.

Excellent example. When I get home, im going to post a pic of a "guess the dog". No one has addressedwhat sharpei were breed for. Ummmmmm fighting. Thats the reason for their loose skin. It can bebit and still turn and bite the dog that is latched onto it.


This proves my point, its pointless to single out any breed of dog for banishment, or regulation. All dogs came from wolves, thus all have similar genetics, just different variations. How some one would regulate a single variation is beyond me.

the kind of dog that could put a real hurting on someone if it wanted to, the kind of dog bred for fighting, strong muscular body, boxy head, steel jaws .......... gooooooood gawd I just peed myself thinking about it ..........
