She was a darling for a lot of folks on the left given that she mainly targeted Bush. However, she recently appeared with some anti-war protestors and attempted to shout down a Democrat who was discussing policy changes in Iraq at a press conference. It will be interesting to see how views of her may change if she consistently goes after the new Dem leadership now.

One can safetly assume that she has been viewed more positively by Dems than Reps. Even the ones who think that she is a nutcase have likely quietly enjoyed the fact that she directed her craziness toward Bush. I'm just curious how views toward her (both subtle and overt) may change if she starts to direct her craziness equally toward the new Dems. I know that she is a darling of the hollywood far left. But I wonder how long they will tolerate her if she fixates too long on Dem-led policies.
