Did you hear me praise him ? I stated that no one had bad words against him. I said may he rest in peace and I believe he deserves to .
Was he a great leader ? Did he make the world a better place ?
I don't know ,will you 'll miss me ?Will you say I was a fool?
All ,I hope is before I die I piss enough people off that they will talk about me for a long time.

Geez Louise, what's your problem? I only think that he was a man Nixon hand picked to succeed him because he was a good friend, and that he accomplished little in office (except pardoning Nixon for his part in various federal crimes and setting up the White House to fall to Carter), and that the media is singing his praises up and down despite the fact that no one beforehand ever had seemed to have any reason to.
I feel bad for his family and friends, as well as his supporters. Loss is tough for anyone who experiences it, no doubt about that.
My primary complaint is that his passing is being turned into yet another sensationalist media circus and that people are being disengenuous in their seemingly endless compliments. It irks me that elected officials in our republic are often treated as American royalty, much like with actors, athletes, and other celebrities. I'm just not the kind of guy who go looking for people to worship.
I'll admit I have a soft spot for some people, notably Jefferson, as well as people like Reagan and Col. Jeff Cooper, but that's because these people led me to think in radically new ways, or because they did an incredible amount of good for countless people, despite just being individuals in a world full of them. To me, Ford represented an opportunity to take a deep breath between political eras. Not something to worship IMHO.
Anyway, I don't know if I'll talk about you when you're gone, but I'll definitely think about you. Take it easy man, have a good new year and celebrate our lives today.
