Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Arthur Brooks, the author of "Who Really Cares," says that "when you look at the data, it turns out the conservatives give about 30 percent more." He adds, "And incidentally, conservative-headed families make slightly less money."
And he says the differences in giving goes beyond money, pointing out that conservatives are 18 percent more likely to donate blood. He says this difference is not about politics, but about the different way conservatives and liberals view government.
I wonder what the "data" is that this author looked at in writing his book.

Honestly, folks, who needed 20/20 to tell them that people from Sioux Falls would be more charitable than people from San Francisco? There's some things that it don't take a rocket scientist to forecast.

I saw the report also.I know people that live in the city, and most belive its the city, state,or fed gov, that should take care of all problems with people that dont want to take responsibilty into there own hands.as for giving I live in outside a small town, population 176,thier are 2 other towns about the same size within 9 miles of me,if anything would happen I know the people of these 3 comunitys would come to our aid,on the other hand Ive seen people in big citys get hit with bad times and they think its the gov responsibilty to help.
I should go on but I wont.
