NEW YORK (CNN) -- The Rev. Al Sharpton said Wednesday he refused to accept an apology from actor Michael Richards, who spouted a racist rant at a comedy club last week.
Sharpton said he also chastised Richards, telling him, "Here you are, somebody we had in our living room, you were Kramer. We were used to you and to come and see you say this is frightening to many Americans."
The use of the "n-word" by both blacks and whites needs to be stopped, Sharpton said.
......so does this mean Sharpton is racist against blacks too ?
And here we go, with the aid of indignant folks like the Rev. Al this is sure to be kept in the spotlight for weeks to come.He doesnt accept the apology, who cares, he wasnt even there during Richards tirade.Maybe public flogging would be more to the Revs. liking.Of course the whip might remind him of something that happened 200 years ago then we would have to start all over.If we can get Jesse Jackson and the ACLU involved maybe we can drag this incident out for months.Hope the lawsuit goes well or theyll probably have to break up a riot afterwards.Ah well, whites are the ones keeping the hatred alive after all[:'(]
I wonder why there wasn't this big of a shakeup a few years ago when Wanda Sykes referred to a white quarterback as a cracker, while on ESPN?
Oh, thats right, she's black, doesn't matter.
But Michael Vick dropping the F bomb and flipping the bird took a 2 minute apology and all was good ......... wait, thats a black man talking trash to white folks, never mind, he can do that, an apology is all he needs
my bad
Im actually finding myself liking Kramer more and more for his outburst, I kinda wish he hadn't apologized for it. Stuff like this really brings these subjects to the front of news and its worthy of being discussed. Its important.
He is the biggest racist I've ever seen. He makes me sick and so does Jackson. These guys are more responsible for keeping everyone divided that anyone I know of.
