I recently read a Dutch news article that mentioned estimates of 1,600 potential Islamic extremists living in Amsterdam.Muslim fundamentalists murderer Theo van Gogh and Pim Fortuyn in the past few years, and many of the Dutch started getting fed up with theirrelatively openimmigration laws. Now, unless you come from a former Dutch colony or the EU, you have to find an employer to sponsor you (usually contractually) and get the necessary permits.

London and Madrid have already been attacked, and Amsterdam doesn't want to be next. The Dutch can bea liberal people, but they sometimes do put public safety above political correctness.
