I have to vent about worthless ares parents who need a foot up the butt
As some of you know, I run a science dept. of a small school district. In doing so, I teach multiple levels of classes and am exposed to a large amount of kids. Which creates a situation to where I am the person called on when out side sources need information on particular kids. I deal with C.P.S. often. Which in most cases has good results, but not in this situation. I have some students, all brothers and sisters, who are extremely emotionally disturbed. The reason for the E.D. is due to the mother. This women will have a kid, traumatize them to the point the kid is an emotional wreck, then C.P.S. takes them away and places them with the grandparents. This women never gets in trouble, and goes off and makes another kid to do the same thing too. I have 5 of her kids in my classes. All are a wreck. Our district just received two more of her kids that were recently taken from her. And guess what, she is pregnant with another. This women goes as far as to call her kids at their grandparents in order to torment them. She pulls the, "poor pitiful me" act. The grandparents have placed peace bonds on her and she still tries to torment the kids with notes and messages delivered by other individuals. This women lives in Alaska, and still torments these kids. I keep crying for mandatory sterilization in jest. I do not jest in this situation. She should be sterilized, if not more done to her. Why do we need a license to hunt, fish, or drive, but any A-hole can have kids at will and screw them up. Im so P.O.ed, I cant see straight. Im getting sick of having meeting about the same problem, only to address the symptom, not the cause.

We kinda have similar things going on around here. Only, these parents aren't terrorizing the kids. But, reproducing at will! [:@][:'(] And expecting others to take care of them.

That problem has been increasing exponentially in every school I have seen. That is one of my gripes as well. Making tons of kids and not caring for them. Arrrrgggggg.[/align]

Yeah, I always enjoy getting in line at the grocery store, behind some lady using food stamps who is obviously 8-9 months pregnant. Good God. If you can't afford to feed yourself, you have NO business having a kid.

What about her right to live her life as she sees fit ? If she wants to live that kind of care free life, whoa re you to step in a say she can't ? We have a while system of social services set up for people like her. We, as a society, accept and condone those who do like she does. And we pay them to do it by way of welfare and social programs.
You see, personal responsibility is all but lost in this country. The removal of God and of morals and ethics result in situations like these.
There isn't anything you can do - the Liberal world we live in gives this woman every opt out she needs, and in many ways rewards her for her abandonments.

Irresponsible parents are as old as humanity itself. It's pathetic and frustrating to see, but a reality nonetheless. The thing that gets me is that society (or at least societal"leader figures") simply expects those who are fit and competent to pick up the dead weight of those who unable or unwilling to provide for themselves and their families.
As shown throughout the history of mankind, the fastest way to make people dependent on others and incapable of true individuality is to give them handouts while asking for nothing in return. Just plain said...
