Just got through watching a press conference with her and she said, "This will be the most ethical congress in history". Silly Silly Nancy, Did you not appoint Murtha as the had of the ethics committee? Can you say AMSCAM. Or are we suppose to forget about that? She kinda shot that out of the water on the gitty up

I'm not too pleased with the Murtha appointment, although I don't know as much about it as I should. I do know his name is certainly not squeaky clean.
Plus, it's not clever to tell people how ethical and moral you are and basically invite them to scrutinize you. Remember Gary Hart? the press will take you up on the offer.

She already has documented ethics problems with fund raising, doesn't she? I don't have specifics, but I thought there was something ... I think there's "something" on each member of congress.[:'(]
I think she is giving Murtha way too much credit for the election results. I'm not a Hoyer fan, given his blatant racism toward Steele; he did, however, play a big part in getting Cardin elected. People running on retreat from Iraq did not give the democrats the majority; it would & likely will be a mistake for the dems to push retreat right out of the gate.

I also caught this morning how a lot of Demos went to Panama to party after the election to celebrate. Only a handful paied their own way. The others used sponsor money. Hmmmmm, NOt a good start Nancy.
