From an interview I seen on tv here, the cells they are targeting to use are thethousands left over from Infertility treatment,where the mother has no longer usefor them, because she went full term and delivered.It is these cells that they are destroying after she has no longer use for them, so they are being killed anyway, so why not use them? This is exactly, from what I understood, is already being done elsewhere here in the country, just not in MO. By passing this amendment, it would allow MO. researchers to do just the same as done elsewhere. Hope this clarifies your opinion. You would think that they were taking babies out of the nursery and letting some German mad doctor left over from WWII do experiments. There are thousands of these cells flushed down the sink every year. Why not utilize a few of them that are going to be destroyed anywayin an area of medicine that looks very promising for cures?
