Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Giuliani... what does he stand for?

Rudy Guliani seems popular in early polls. I hear that he is pro gun licensing, pro gay marriage and pro choice. But I have seen no talking papers. Step up to bat, any New Yorkers here know his positions?

Dems are a force for now. But once the war winds down, it is recession time. That will wear the bloom off of the rose.

Guliani is about as gun friendly as the most liberal of Democrats.[:@][:'(][:@]

He is highly respected but, IMHO, has no chance getting out of a Republican primary.

Living in NYC, I considered him one of the most ruthless politicians I have ever seen. Before 9/11 his police force took plenty of liberties and were becoming world famous for their brutality. After 9/11 he AND his police force were all of a sudden national heroes. A very big joke in my opinion! He pretty much stands on the opposite side of everything hardcore republicans favor, yet it seems that he has become an idol to them anyway. Just hope this guy never becomes president, because he will be the closest thing to a dictator this country has ever seen!

Bingo. About a year ago, he joined the law firm that I worked at. It was a move viewed by many as an attempt to get a political foothold in the South. The firm's managing partner is very active politically. I know that a number of the partners at the firm are hunters/shooters. Maybe they'll knock a little Texas sense into him before he takes the next step...

I wish you luck with that one! If anyone is to do any knocking, it will be him and his thugs!

Hahaha... I'm reminded of the old Pace Picante Sauce commercial. A bunch of cowboys are sitting around the fire eating dinner, and are rather disgusted by the flavor of the picante sauce that the cook served... One of them asks where it was made, and the chef says "New York City." The cowboys respond "NEW YORK CITY!?!?!?!" And one says "Get a rope..."

He's a popular figure right now; however, he is very leftist on issues such as our second amendment civil right to keep & bear arms. I'm not sure if he can stand the heat of the republican primary, especially if the democrat leadership in congress tries to make a leftist run...
