Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The Silence is deafening !

Come on now yesterday some of had good words for Dumdya's running of things.

Even the windy one Rush can't explain why the dumbycraphs kicked the G.O.P.s butt. maybe another 5-6 week vacation in Texas will help Wya get him top knot out of his lower orifice.

I have to go now that master of the written word is about to speak & I wouldn't miss it for the world!

In my best mister Bill voice "OOOHHHHH NNNOOO ' Rummies going to quit. Who'd a thunk it? []

OK so now what. It looks like the balance of power has changed. My prediction will be that Rummy will be gone shortly as a desperate measure by W and "the party" to placate the dissatisfied public. 2008 is closer than ever and now that the worst scenario, from a GOP perspective, has occurred the red party needs to conduct some damage control and get ready for the next fight. Without an end to the war there will be aDem president in office next term. In order to gain political momentum the GOP needs to accomplish this sometime during 2007 or at worst early 2008. Time is running short and getting Rumsfeld out of the office will be the first step with a firm timeframe for a power transfer from us to Iraq next. The loss of power after all this time and the war in Iraq will be the anchor that hangs over Bush's presidency. The people have spoken and change is demanded. Today"™s news conference from the White House should prove interesting.
Big mystery to W thatthe GOPlost???? He was a liability to all Republicans involved in a close race. His steadfast stance on keeping Rummy and staying the course in Iraq cost his party dearly. He should have listened to all his military people and reacted to a known problem.George Bushowns this and it will be his legacy.

All part of the necessary balance of power which ebbs and flows over time to provide us with a better government. Problems arise with an excess of power and partisanship. This has been a do nothing Congress and that is because they haven't been challenged by the other side of the isle. A 2 party system should be able to work together and I predict they will do OK between now and the election. Both sides need to show their greatness if they want to capture 2008.
