If I am not mistaken, that would have to be the non-socialist Kennedy back in the days when even Democrats were capitalist. They even knew back then that freedom and liberty do not come by chance.

JFK in his inaugural speech. Man could turn a phrase. Putting it into practice turned out to be rougher. 2 years laterwas the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Wonder how it would have turned out if he'd committed US troops.
