Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Our biggest mistake in Iraq...

I think our biggest mistake in Iraq was the belief that the Iraqi people were going to be smart enough to realize the opportunity they had for themselves when liberated. Isn't the instability in Iraq due to the fact that the Iraqis are basically savage people who only respect someones ability to kill someone else? So to prove how powerful they are they go around killing opposite sect members like that furthers their cause.

I almost lean to the "I wish we never went there side." Except for the fact that we have killed a boat load of current and wannabe terrorists I struggle to see the overall picture.

Ill agree for the most part. Sad to say, it takes a dictator to controle a bunch of religious zelics, who are fighting for over all authority under the disguise of a religion.

If we remove religion from all past just how many wars would there have been?

These people fight because they hate, they hate us, they hate the Jews, they hate the Kurds ,they hate each other & most of all they hate life itself.
They want to die to leave this place that to them is hell.

And we should do our best to make theirwishes come true.

Wow, you almost got all "mel gibson" on us there...

I would say that there would have been almost as many. While religious hatred plays a part in a lot of hostilities, there are other motivations as well. Greed being a biggie.

Just trying to make a joke, unsuccessfully. Mel blamed wars on the Jews. You blamed it on religion generally. I was not trying to insinuate anti-semitism at all...
