Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default RE: Bush "doesn't pay attention to polls"

I believe polls are irrelevant. A poll is as good as the degree of nonpartisanship the pollster practices. It also is only as good as the target audience. Put a poll up on NPRs web sight and you will get a left tendency. Put a poll up on Fox news and you will get a middle to right view. I have yet to see a poll that has been a true view of the nation. Besides, ive never been asked to answer any questions from all these polls, so how does that reflect my views. To get any true indication of Americas view, you would have to combine all the polls per subject.

But for any politician to state he does not look a polls, is a lier. Everyone of them watch all the polls. They might not equate much merit to some, but they still read them.

Sure Bush listens to polls look how he is slowly changing with regard to Iraq. You don't go from stay the course to getting the troops home without a bunch of subtle adjustments and still save face. Now he admits things aren't going well and changes need to be made. Must be a difficult time for him seeing the mid term elections just around the corner and the GOP losing stature due to increasing public sentiment against the war and the scandals. Talk about a one two knockout punch. Rest assured all the troops will be home in time for the 2008 elections.
