Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Wild pigs eyed in E. coli outbreak

Death to the Extremist Pigs ! Wild Eh?

http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/10/26/tainted.spinach.ap/index.html

Wild pigs are one "real clear vehicle" that could explain how E. coli spread from cattle on the ranch to the spinach field less than a mile away, Reilly said. The pigs could have tracked the bacteria into the field or spread it through their droppings, he said.

Investigators also are looking at runoff, flooding, irrigation water, fertilizer and other wildlife, including deer, as possible sources.

Investigators first recovered the same strain of bacteria earlier this month from three cattle manure specimens collected on the ranch. On Thursday, Reilly said the strain had been isolated from six other samples collected on the ranch, including from cattle.

These pigs should be rounded up and detained indefinitely or at least until they are washed up, given a clean bill of health and then BBQ'd...

the romans actually used pigs as weapons. covered them with pitch, set them on fire, and cut 'em loose in the enemy's ranks.created havoc with carthage's elephants.

If they were born here, they're U.S. citizens... therefore, not aliens, and Military Tribunals cannot be used.

Time for some vigilanteism if you ask me... I can rustle up a posse, if you'll bring the BBQ sauce.

Isnt E. colia commonintestinal bacterium?Just as most all the Escherichia? Or have my microbiology books lied to me all these years. I hope not, because I have been teaching and tutoring microbiology for over 15 years. I hope I have not been lieing to all my students. In other words, anything mammal that poops will have E. coli in its intestine. Deer, hogs, cattle, rats, etc, etc, will carry it, as well as humans. We get all our E. coli for labs by simply taking a rat turd and streaking it on a E.M.B. agar, or having the kids take anal swabs. Which ever they choose. (They do the anal swabs by themselves in the bathroom with a sterile Q-tip, so dont think im a perv. teacher. I can see steathy clumping me in with all his every day gay porn stars.
