All the polititians are too busy, digging up dirt on each otherand covering their arses, to focus on the job. Sometimes I just wish we could start clean and get a total new bunch in the Congress. Same term limits that apply to the President should follow the Congress. At least when they turn out bad you know they won't be here for decades.

It will come to light. If it is theRep.party hideing the facts, dont you think the Demos will find the truth quick enough. Also, with the election year coming, dont you think the Demos will be all over it, to use it as fuel for the elections? I dont see how the Demos can let a prize like this slip through their fingers.
If and when the responsible party is found out, they need to have their heads handed to them. That is if it was a misappropriation, but if a clerical error and no monitary gain was made, then it needs to be put to rest. No matter the party affiliation.

I'd like to see the whole story before passing any judgement. Obviously if the money just dissapeared, someone should be held accountable.

Hmmmmm........if said act were to have occured in the Oval Office, and included a very young person in a subordinate position, I'd pitch a fit, and I believe it would be justifiable. Let's make a comparison here........

Just to avoid any potential confusion, I think Foley should have gotten worse--I don't think he should have gotten off with a light slap on the wrist as the others did.
Double standard? No doubt, but not in the direction you are trying to point it. That's why I needfacts, unbiased ones, to form an opinion. I'm not convinced we are getting the whole story here.
Like Burnie said, if there's any way possible to point the finger at President Bush and/or any Republicans, the Dems won't waste a second in doing so.

I heard the money was used wisely, but the people who it was given to were bad, some was lost or destroyed...and that insurgents would blow up buildings that had just been rebuilt, several times over, repairs to power and hydro distribution plants, repairing damages to oil facilities several times etc..etc....also I hear, there is a new Dairy Queen franchise there and ...well...ice cream costs money don'ch'ya know...

Even the majority of Arab family units are corrupt, they will lie, cheat and steal from each other...in some cases family members are killed...Arabs are whacked...( no pun intended )
