And I think it;s worth giving up that little bit of freedom to know that we won't raise an entire generation of 8 year old miscreants.

Maybe we could start a new youth organization like the Hitler Youth so these kids could rat each other out when the books are overdue.

And then we could go after those little commies that get behind in their school lunch money.

don't laugh. these books are usually living peacefully on a shelf, minding their own business, when they are snatched away, often simply for the views they espouse between their covers.

do the books have the right of habeus corpus, ordoes their only hope of being returned lie with a tribunal of librarians appointed by the school board?
