You know this is ridiculous! they have banned tag now because someone may get hurt!!!!
I am sure the parents of the boy given a note about his library books would fully support this. Think about it, with no testostrone the kid couldn't play tag any how so would feel left out!

Americas slide into the oblivion of litigation started the day they allowed lawyers to start advertising. Suddenly people who hurt thier self due to their own stupidity saw a commercial or read an ad for some law firm that told them they could get rich off of thier own stupidity and the lawyers proved them right to the expense of us all in everything we own and buy.

Yeah, I cringe when I see those stupid ads on TV. "I'm Jim (*&(&, the TOUGH SMART LAWYER. I'll go after everything you deserve, all the lost wages, all the damages, all the pain and suffering, ALL OF IT!!!" Makes me want to punch him in the mouth, but then the a$$clown would sue me...
Actually, Lincoln supposedly advertised with fliers.
But Iagree with most of what's been said. Ambulance-chasing lawyers are exploiting people's get-rich-quick/blame-everyone-but-yourselfmentality. And our leaders (on BOTH sides of the aisle) are setting a fine example...
The really perverse aspect of this, IMO, is that there are rules on the books atht could prevent this. Correct me if I'm wrong, ipscshooter, but can"™t a lawyer be reprimanded or even disbarred if judges refer them to the Bar for frivolous suits? Why doesn"™t this happen? THAT would be my criteria for appointing Federal civil judges. That they had the gonads to refer lawyers to the Bar!
