ipscshooter to say all democrats supported that or feel that way now is one of the very reasons that will eventually lead us to lose our guns.
There are anti- gun republicans and pro-gun democrats, any one who does not research the candidates voting record and stance on guns forgetting what party the candidate belongs to coul very well wind up voting for an anti-gun candidate!
Prime example is the last race for governor in Va., the republicans candidate when he was mayor in a city in Va. pushed through the strictest gun control laws in the state, the NRA refused to give him any rating at all, thank God he was not elected, a pro-gun democrat was elected.

I didn't say all Democrats support those things. I said vote for candidates who are A-rated by the NRA. There are a few Dems who have that rating. The problem is that those few Dems are not the ones who are getting promoted to top spots and setting the agenda. And, if it means actually losing control of the Congress, I think a B or C rated Republican might be better than an A rated Democrat. Do you really want John Conyers, who is a 30 year advocate of banning all handguns, in charge of the House Judiciary Committee which decides who your judges will be? Do you think 2nd Amendment interpretation may be one of his litmus tests?

All of which would hinge directly on their ability to prove that I do or have any of the above , which they can't in my case . No man has ever crafted a system or law that another man can't get around , which is why gun control will never work in this country .

And, what happens next time you're at the sporting goods store and want to buy 1000 primers for reloading shotgun shells, and the clerk says "Ok, but first I'll need to see your Federal Arsenal License." Or, squirrel season is coming up, and you and your son want to pick up a couple boxes of .22 ammo for target sessions and tree rats? Two of those boxes of 525 Remington 40 gr hollow points makes you an arsenal.

More fear mongering and propaganda.
We actually have the bill of rights being infringed upon by this very congress - and its being ignored in the name of the new "super patriotism".
See my other thread on "anti-terror laws" and the questions of freedom the neocons can't answer. I've called them out on subverting the bill of rights, and they remain silent - and then have the gaul to rail about another imaginary threat to another of the bill of rights for the purpose of selling fear. Just like they did in support of the "warrantless" programs.
Playing both ends against the middle only works on the ignorant.
Hypocrites.

Fear mongering and propaganda? It's crap they were trying to pass before they lost control in 1994. Kennedy sponsored bill called Brady II.
I'm not fond of everything Congress has done, but, I think there is just as much propaganda about those issues coming from you. Name a U.S. citizen who has been wrongfully targeted as a result of any of the consitutional violations you believeexist under the Patriot Act.
You think it's all just a bunch of fear mongering? I guess it's alsofear mongering to point out that, in California, they banned a bunch of "assault rifles" and had a list of rifles that were OK as long as you registered them. They then decided that the ones on the list should be banned as well, and went around confiscating weapons from people who had registered.
I guess I'lljust go on being an ignorant hypocrite and vote based on an issue that could actually affect me, rather than on the imagined fear that the government might tap my phone without a warrant and hear me tell my wife that I got off work a little early so she doesn't have to pick our son up at school...
