Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default List of potential elected officials(lacking)

I have been sitting here, in Ohio, pondering the lists of potential candidates in the upcoming elections. I am sorely disappointed in the choices, or lack of choices, we have to consider. There is absolutely no candidate that I could say I would vote for because I like them and believe they are a good choice. I honestly can't see where oneis anybetter than the other.

Are the rest of you as disgusted asI am?

Any of you that have considered running for office yourselves?

I'm not sure what your situation is, but if you won't to see a pathetic sight, check the ballot for the Texas Governors race.[:@]

Our choices are:
[ol][*]Keep the current crook in office. He's done a great deal creating jobs.........IN OTHER COUNTRIES![*]Elect onecrazy grandma. She's as crooked as the current candidate, but her price and standards are lower, so she'd sell us down river for less.[*]Elect a jewish cowboy nutjob that favors legalized gambling and marijuana, and disfavors hunting. He's basically running as the "none of the above" candidate.[*]Elect a democrat.[&:][/ol]
It looks as if I'll vote democrat.[][][]

Well we have a choice between Ken Blackwell who is the Repub. that is getting his political payback from the current admin. We have Ted Strickland who has a running mate who never saw a gun control bill he didn't like. Then there are senators from both sides who are both for gun control. Am I painting a grim pic so far?

Seems like most elections now a days are "pick the least stinkiest fish". I think with much of the political posturing and back-door deals that make up 99% of politics these days, integrity is lost. Integrity would be the one thing I'd be glad to vote for. I believe term limits would help to improve choices and wish it would be implemented, but I'm unsure if anything will ever turn things around.

My experience in my 30+ years of voting is that the higher the office the more drastic the option of the lesser of two evils to pick from is!
