The Democrats (and their liberal media mouthpieces, of course) were so eager to use the Fogey issue to their advantage, saying Hastert and other Republicans who might've known about the emails and done nothing should resign. Most Republicans were quick to condemn, and also said that if Hastert (or any of the others) knew about them and did nothing, they should resign.
Now there's compelling evidence that Democrats knew about the letters and did nothing until now as a matter of timing, to create a little "October surprise." Will Democrats also call on any Democratic congressmen who knew about the emails to step down? I won't hold my breath.

This isn't the october surprise....the thing about democrats are they don't jump to conclusions....if the evidence is proof worthy,then we talk..now if this turned out to be a rumor and not true would they say something???But we can agree on somethig though....this country is corrupt and has no morals respect or dignity any more...and when you speak out you are attacked and labeled as an anti American...sometimes actions are worth and needed over words...they all need to step down and put someone with balls for the people and not for the money...that man needs to be put to death...there is no need for his type here in america....our country is screwed up bad...

Looks like a blue year in politics. Look to George to trya Hail Mary in an attempt to save the day. Should get interesting. From my point of view anyone in a position of power on either side of the islewho knew about this situation and didn't do anything should be gone. It is time for the taxpayers of this society to demand ethics and honesty fromour leadership. That good old boy network in Washington has to go. Time for new blood.

I've heard (although you hear lots of stuff) that there was an effort to hide this guys activities from Dems back when he was just given a warning about his "overly friendly" email. In particular, I heard that the lone Dem member of some committee wasn't told. Anybody hear about this?

I wonder how many of the dummycrats are really child lusting pedos whose party knows about them but isn't saying anything because they're too busy trying to hang as many republicans as they can over the one who got caught ? The guiltiest dog usually barks the loudest , and the only one with a duty to resign over the incident already has .

The Dems have had problems like this and no one resigned.Yes I think Foley should have resogend but so should have the Dems. My god Barney franks boyfriend was running a prostitution service out of their apartment.Another was having sex with a 16 yr old page I believe.
I have no doubt they would keep quiet about this until it was a good time for this to come out...
