It may not have the catchy appeal of other star couple nicknames like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' "Tomkat" or Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's "Brangelina," but the name "Pondi" has been suggested on some blogs to describe the apparently fictitious love affair between Secretary of State Condoleezza "Condi" Rice and Canadian Foreign Minister Peter MacKay.
Wolf- you're not crazy.Condi's intelligence and classare what makes her attractive.
I just thought of something (not trying to change the subject here!)- If Bush hates blacks so much that he let them all die in New Orleans, why whould he hire Condi?

No, I say it because almost all of his policies scream it:
- His administration has eliminated numerous highly effective, low cost programs to pay for huge tax cuts that benefit only those in the top 1% or 2% income range.
- He hands out billions of dollars every year in sole source, cost plus contracts to his rich buddies without putting the contract out for competitive bids.
- This is money that we are borrowing and that you and I and future generations will have to pay back with interest. And,interest rates will continue to rise because we are borrowing more and more to pay for retiring baby boomers, who will be paying less and less taxes as they retire.
- The list goes, butI must stop for now.
I don't think Dubbya is a really bad guy, I just think he's oblivious to what most people have ot deal with. He's a spoiled rich kid who never had to take responsibility for his actions and always had someone who would clean up his messes. Now he's made truly huge mess and we're gonna have to clean it up...
