RE: Pakistan, Ally or Enemy?
I don't know how anyone could call Pakistan an ally. They won't let us go into the border area to get UBL. I guess we call them an ally because they don't scream hatred and make death threats at us ...to our face. Cut out our aid and we would seehow they really feel about us.

Ban Canned Hunting. If you don't speak up against it you are part of the problem.
international politics has no right or wrong, its kind of like an arguement in a personal relationship. we needed pakistan as a jumping off point for afganistan (and now to theoreticaly seal the boarder & combat terrorism) so we sucked up to them. now it is time for the US to find other allies, but afganistan will turn into something similar to iraq (with iran doing all it can to destablize) w/o at least token support from pakistan. so we have no choice i think
last i heard (i might be wrong) the dude who sold the nuculear secrets was in 'house arrest' whatever that might imply
ifferd you are a master of the open ended questions and subtle implications then sit back and watch but what do you think is the right policy?
