Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

heck someone somewhere thought it was middle east terrorists, does it matter at this point where they came from? Does it serve any good purpose to try and derail the fight against terrorism? We are at war and the terrorist want to take it to North America again, and they will not stop.

Al Qaeda released their own 9/11 video today, proclaiming that there will be more attacks, calling on many extremists world wide to fight harder now.

Ifferd, you do realize the best thing the world has right now is the US in Iraq? Ground zero for the fight on terror is Iraq is it not?

Iraq is ground zero for people that want to kill Americans right now. Remember that big assault on Fallujah in 2004? That place was full of foriegn fighters, who wanted to die, and take as many American lives with them as possible.

I have a very difficult time looking at low flying jetliners since that day after seeing the flight that hit the Pentagon fly directly over me before hitting the Pentagon. A day and event that I will never forget.

LMAO, the only reason Iraq is ground zero is because we made it ground zero, and a lotta the folks were fighting now didnt become extremists till after that fact.Wonder if the people over there feel safer now with daily carbombings and suicide bombers going off all over the country then they did 5 years ago?Seemed like ground zero for this fight probably should have been where the people that actually attacked us were and not the nieghboring country but that would be to logical.

would you rather have car bombings and suicide bombers in north amercia?

Of course, today we now know much more about the enemy(ies) than we did before the decision to get Saddam was made. The extremists attacked the US and killed alot of people ( an act of war ) in a manner meant to instill fear. They did not build an army as we know it to be, they did not attack the shores of NY from landing craft and charge in...they did it from inside, under everyone's noses....what's worse?

This will be my only post on this thread.

U.S. officials have for months publicly promoted the notion that foreign fighters and terrorists are playing a major role in the anti-American insurgency in Fallujah and the rest of Iraq. By blaming foreigners, U.S. authorities hope to quash the idea that Iraqis are rising up against military occupation and frame the conflict as part of the wider war on terror. However, foreigners play a tiny role in Iraq's insurgency, many military experts say.
In Fallujah, U.S. military leaders say around 90 percent of the 1,000 or more fighters battling the Marines are Iraqis. To date, there have been no confirmed U.S. captures of foreign fighters in Fallujah - although a handful of suspects have been arrested

What percent of the people we are fighting in Iraq right now were planning on coming here?

Well that's a tough one to answer because apparently they end up dead, and too late to ask them.......unless they left behind an Al Qaeda video note in which they say death to America, btw see you next week?
