Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

They will also be giving gay-owned buisnesses special treetment....they wont be getting anymore money from ME thats for sure.

What, are you Homo-phobic? I may not agree with their lifestyle either, but It's Walmarts money, and they give alot to all charities, including churches and schools. So your gonna boycott them for another charity-organization, makes no sense to me. I know people who are gay-lesbian, and have/had family members who are gay-lesbian, but I wouldn't boycott them. This is a new age in time, get over it, it's not going away.

homphobic? get over it? Why am I labeled homo-phobic because I dont agree with same sex marriages?? Why shopuld I get over it? Should I stop standing up for what I beleive in?? Yes, I am gunna boycott them because part of "Wal*Mart's money" is MY money that I put INTO Wal*Mart..I dont want MY money going into the NGLCC... and I dont buy Pepsi or Levi products cause they support anti-hun groups. Dont label me a "homophobe" just because I dont want my money going to an organization that supports gay marriage. Telling a youngan not to stand for what they beleive in is a GREAt thing to say!

I do not shop at Wal-Mart either but, that is before this gay thing.
I do not like buying everything that says Made in China on it. Now
I have more reason to add to it.

so mastevt's masculinity is suspect for adopting a "live and let live" attitude towards homosexuality? how very "junior high" of you.

CTH8-you stand by your ideals. as you might have guessed, i disagree with them, but if you can't for your ideals in this country, something is wrong.

now if, you'll all excuse me, i have moreimportant things to do than discuss national and international politics. things that will have a direct and significant impact on my life.

in particular, i'm making up a big batch of jerkey, and then taking my oldest boy (12) to do some serious preseason scouting.

Sorry Travis if you took it the wrong way, I wasn't labeling you, it was merely a question for thought. the get over it was merely trying to get you to realize that what others do (including business's) doesn't matter in life, it's what you do. So if you want to take a stand and boycott, then by all means, it's your right. But, I'm positive that someone you know lives in the world you dislike, but to their choosing, haven't told you of their sexual orintation, and if you knew, you might stand slightly differant on the subject. I've lost a 1st cousin to aids, and have an aunt who is lesbian, she is still my aunt, but I don't cut her any slack for being who she is either, and we get along just fine. sorry for the confusion, Scott.

oh, well excuse me for getting a little heated there, I obviosuly took it the wrong way. Maybe someone I know does live in the world I dislike, but that wouldnt change teh fact that I am 100% led by my Lord and Savior and try to uphold his teachings to the best of my ability...nothing would change me from not giving money to a homosexual group that supports gay marriage, and nothing would change me from thinking the way I do, and having the stances that I do. Im surrounded by leftists everyday, but still, I am a far right-winger. Im not saying that anyone should treat someone horrible or something just because their gay, I just dont beleive in same-sex marriages and dont give my money to them in any way (in times that I can help it)
