When I was a kid a couple of neighbor kids used to take empty CO2 canisters and pack them with match heads and put them in a pipe and shoot them off using a match as a fuse. The thing would go off like a rocket and they would target an old barn that was falling down. One day they were packing one and the punch they were using caused a spark and the thing blew up. The kid lost most of his hand.

Let's hope he has not passed those "brains" onto the next generation. One other question, where the hell were the parents of the kids involved. If my kids said "hey dad, can we go next door and play with the neighbors artillery shells?", I think it would get my attention.
