Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Donkeys and Elephants

Which are you? Just curious. I'm a moderate elephant myself.

Neither. I vote for the person who IMO best will serve the office. I hate partisan politics and believe it is dragging our country down. All politics from the local to the national level spends far too much time fighting across the isle just for the sake of fighting. Time would be better spent passing legislation that would actually help us.

Me too, but we are getting screwed these days. Partisian politics are killing us. We can't have a man who tells us how he feels, he feels like whereever the votes are. Look at Bush Jr., I feel he's done an ok job on some things. But then we have to comprimise on other things. He holds bedrock prinicples over our heads, mean we have to accept his immigration policy, and wiretapping, handling of treasury department, and lack of energy policy. Same crap with all presidents these days. Dems or repubs.

So we get the short end of the stick, and have to pick out a few hot topics, to hold on too.

I mean I am a moderate conservative. I have yet to see a actual conservative in office.

A lot of people say I'm a jackass, but I don't think it has anything to do with a political party.

I'm proud to hold no affiliation with either major political party. However, I am a long ways right of center, and vote for elephants far more often than I vote for donkeys. I'm not sure if it matters . . . they're all monkeys (2006 is a landmark year for me; I'm voting Democrat for US Rep, Senate and governor).

In 2008, I may well join the Constitution Party. I don't know what their mascot is, but it should be an eagle.

Ban Canned Hunting. If you don't speak up against it you are part of the problem.
