Just wondering, if everyones killing each other in the name of the koran over there then whos right? This groups killed more people in the name of self defense then we did taking over the entire country.Another sign that Democrasy is coming along nicely over there, they have as much street violence as Washington DC does. These people are all nuts, Extremist groups wacking each other at random, the peacefull segment sitting back and doing nothing, its crazy, maybe our best bet would be to give em all short range nukes and let the cleansing begin. That was sarcasm but IM begining to think it might be the worlds best bet
"Our constitution, the Koran, dictates killing for those who kill."
Nice extremisim? [:'(]I'm suprised these morons showed themselves, they must have been emboldened by the events in Lebanon...this crap of parading and hiding their facesis right out of an Iranian Shiite Extremist How to Manual...
We've planned this carefully. We know and have always know from day one exactly what we're doin' over there, so please stop asking logical questions.
Its going precisely as planned, sir. Want proof? Do a search under "Mission Accomplished."
Another eight or nine decades of our presence there and say, I dunno, maybe another eight or nine hundred billion dollars and we'll work out those details you keep whinin' about.
If you listen to some members here, all of those muslims are wrong and the koran doesn't tell people to kill. Guess it depends upon who is doing the translating.

If I recall Taz, Turkey has a secular government that is not run by religion and they don't tolerate people stirring up religious problems in their country. Although 98% of Turks are muslim, they allow complete freedom of religion and abolished Islam as the state religion in 1924. Not saying they're bad, just that they practice a version of separation of state from religion. They also gave women the right to vote in 1927 and to divorce in 1934. Turkey is perhaps not the best example for this discussion as they are not an average muslim country and really aren't a 3rd world country either.
On an unrelated note, although I haven't tried Turkish beer, they hit a grand slam with inventing baklava. Yum, yum.

Naaah, we went there to "free" them, to give them "democracy" (although we can only hope they won't elect Hamas) and we knew exactly what we were doing (at least that was last week's reason du jour). It needed to be done. Just give it time. Be patient and keep your wallet open (and your children's children's children's wallets open) and this thing will eventually smooth out. Once they get a taste of this democracy stuff thousands of years of sectarian turmoil will melt like butter on a hot gun barrel.

Speaking of Muslims you are correct. My only problem is don't they have a conscience. The good ones just sit there and let the terrorists do whatever they want. I guess speaking your mind over there isn't healthy. Too bad for the rest of the world.

Wow they are more West than Middle East in culture getting to the vote for women just 7 years after we finally did it. Most places over there still view the women as second class citizens.
