Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I really like these guys too. Guess I won't be buying any CD's from them from now on. This just makes me ill.

BC I like them as well, saw them in concert, tehy put on one heck of a show. He denies all the charges, but some how I have a feeling he may be in deep kimchi!

I can't say exactly what he did wrong legally, but ethically, he committed suicide.

A friend said, "don't you do the same thing when you hunt pen raised quail". I thought about it. Maybe, but it sure ain't the same.

It was a 600lbs black bear. They don't grow on trees.

I'm not sure what he did violates the law either but it sure isn't ethical as BC said.

As for Gentry shooting that bear being the same thing as shooting pen raised quail, I don't see that. In the article for the link provided (see text below), gentry is said to have shot the bear inside its' pen. That is a little different from somebody hunting pen raised quail at a hunting club.

Quote:
After using a bow and arrow to kill the animal inside its pen, Gentry and the owner of the preserve tagged the bear and registered it with the state as if it had been killed in the wild.

I have been on bird hunts with pen raised quail, even satisfied a friend and shot a boar inside a 100acre enclosure. Ain't proud of it. And never felt worse until after that hog hunt. But for some reason the quail thing don't bother me so much. They are flushed, they fly, you got to hit em in the air.Just some fun in the mid winter after duck season.
