Whats with most democrats and hunting?!

I'm not talking to all of you, but why doMOST democrats have such a problem with guns, bows, and hunting?! Who made them like this and why???[:@][:@]

What happened is that someof the kids who joined the anti-war protest scene during Vietnam have now grown up and decided to implement the ideas they adopted and developed back then. Guns are bad because they're the tools of imperialist fascists and classist slave drivers, unless the government has them, and the government is led by liberals.

It's a bit more complicated than that, of course, but that's the gist of it in half a paragraph.

I'll tell ya Deer Hunter72, plain and simple:

Politicians have figured out not to hang to ideals and causes but to groups. Not to hang on to the good ideas or bad, but votes. They have sharpened the political campagning techniques sharp as a razor. They have sorted out groups and took a side. The political parties would easily change tactics and go with a group if it can get them an advantage. Ever wonder why the races are so close these days? Statiticians work around the clock figuring and making computer models. Ever wonder why some good bills get voted down because a dem or repub won't scratch one anothers back on entirely different matter? Bills that make sense, and would benefit everybody? All we can do is hang on to what we believe in the most and vote that way, knowing good and well politicians could care less about the issue but only votes. They count on us Americans not paying attention to thier votes on other things.

Most of the democrats I personally know who hunt are the yellow dogs. They don't know any better & don't want to know any better.

Of course, looking @ Bloomberg, Guiliani, & McCain, having "R" by one's name does not automatically mean they understand or support hunting or our second amendment civil right to own firearms.

There are anti gun republicans also, the last republican that ran for governor here in Va. was anti-gun, needless to say he did not get elected!

As far left as Jimmy Carter is, he is a hunter, he even got attacked by a killer rabbit!

All of us need to find out whether or not a candidate is pro or anti gun before we vote and forget whether or not the are a dem or rep!

Deer Hunter, Where do you get your infomation at? Look at the
North East and see how many of us Democrats hunt and fish !
It will surprize you also the fact most of us so called yellow dogs
were brought up hunting and fishing. These states has also worked
to help stop the antis from ending the way we live. Not to mention
the tree huggers trying to build a big park here to help the antis out.
So get your facts straight !!!! However us Dems. have seen your Rep.
freinds put more of us out of work. That is where the line is drawn and
a very solid line at that. So when your look at the North East try and
figure out how many of us Dems. are tagging those big heavey weight
deer coming out of the North Woods.
