These global warming-caused natural disasters are going to wreck us!!
Heaven help us! Katrina and her brothers and sisters from a year ago were almost certainly caused by Global Warming, and Global Warming is only going to get worse. . . . or so some (Al Gore) would have us believe. I mean, Al Gore and Pat Robertson (don't those two make unlikely bedfellows?) say that we have only a few short years to get Global Warming under control or the consequences will be devastating to mankind. In the spring, we were told by many Global Warming preachers of doom that this hurricane season would certainly be another season of peril and turmoil along our coasts.
So why, then, are we sitting in late August with NO hurricanes so far this year, and only a total of 3 named storms (which is below average for this time of year)?? I know we have a long way to go and anything can happen, but this hurricane season almost certainly isn't going to be as devastating as last year. In fact, the National Weather Service has downgraded its prediction of total storms for this year to 12-to-15, which would just about half of last year's total of 27 named storms . . . And some experts are already whispering that the NWS's latest, downgraded predictions are too generous.
What gives???

After all, he is an expert on, well, everything.
And wasn't Pat the one predicting the impending meteor hitting Disney a few years ago? Or am I thinking of another fruit-loop?

Global warming is very real. In fact there is little debate about it. The issue is whether it is just a natural phase we're going through or is it huname caused.

Looking @ that pesky history stuff, the climate on earth has changed several tiimes in just the last thousand years. Blaming it on the US (not any other country, because that's what this is all about) appears to me to be a game to attack our success through capitalistic economic freedom.
